I was born and raised in NY and love the state. There tons of great things to do, great culture and there is something for everyone. Below is a list of places I have been to, which I hope helps when planning your trip or just trying somewhere new if you are a New Yorker. I plan on updating this list throughout the year. Harlem B2Harlem - Great for brunch, date night, girls night out or a casual meeting. Very mature, sexy but casual vibe. Great food and drinks. Cecil - The Cecil is a Harlem staple and you should plan to visit if you are in the area. Depending on the day of the week the vibe could be grown and sexy, there could be a jazz band or it could feel like a club. Definitely call to make reservations and check the vibe for the day. I have been there brunch, dinner and for Valentines Day, which I highly recommend. Ponty Bistro This is one of my favorite spots in Harlem. Very lay back vibe that perfect for brunch or catching up over dinner...

When you buy tickets on Viva Air they will ask if you are Colombian, which will allow you to buy a cheaper ticket than an International traveler. I risked it and bought the Colombian ticket - they didn't check at the airport and there were no issues. The only downside to Viva Air is that they charge for carry-ons ($30) and snack...
